This is a bluehost question posted by slovakm on 22 November 2006
Im extremely new to building websites and thought its about time I learn. So im sure I will have tons of random questions here and there so hopefully some of you will be able to help me learn what I cant find in a book or learn from trial and error.
So here is my first problem…
I just registered no more than 12 hours ago. I want to use a cookie cutter web page builder. I want to be able to just add/edit text, upload my own logo/images. ETC. and I also want to incorporate a set of forums into the the site as well.
So I might be going about this the wrong way and I started using the program “Template Express”. I picked the one I liked and I get these options:
Installation location
Install on domain (my domain).com
Install in directory this is blank, not sure what to enter hereLeave empty to install in the root directory of the domain (access example: http://domain/).
Enter only the directory name to install in a directory (for http://domain/name/ enter name only). This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!
