I’m having some issues with MySQL backups. Here’s what I’ve found:
Logging in on CPanel and downloading my db through Cpanel backup gives me a file of 149kb gzipped, a joke. In PhpMyAdmin (through CPanel again) I get a file that’s 149kb gzipped too… Now, for the strange part: through my forum software which only back ups *some* of the tables, the file size is 22MB SQL.
My db was at 36MB a month ago, now how come I can’t back the whole thing up? It still says “SQL Disk usage 36.66 Megabytes” in cpanel, and I’m pretty sure it won’t gzip to 149kb!
Anybody know how I can get the full db backed up? I’m getting frustrated here, as I desperately need a new dev-mirror on my local computer!
