I need help setting up outlook 2003 to work with my BH email accounts.
I cannot access to www.bluehost.com and my site which is on box248.bluehost.com. First I thought bluehost was down but later I found out that the servers are up.
I’m settled out of US
Here are my findings:
1-) tried to browse bluehost with my DSL connection at home.. NOT OK
2-) tried to ping bluehost with my DSL connection.. OK
3-) tried to trace bluehost (command tracert) with my DSL connection.. OK
4-) tried to browse bluehost with my E1 connection at work.. NOT OK
5-) tried to ping bluehost with my E1 connection at work.. OK
6-) tried to trace bluehost (command tracert) with my E1 connection at work.. OK
7-) tried to browse bluehost with my E1 connection at work (but using another proxy server out of my country, intranet).. OK
tried to browse bluehost with GPRS connection (mobile phone).. OK
9-) Had several phone calls with customer care service of DSL company (they blamed bluehost )It seems the problem is not related with bluehost (or is it?). If it’s not how come I can ping and trace but cannot browse?
Does anyone have any comments? I need to raise this problem to DSL company most probably but they are not willing to understand.
