Bluehost : ddos attack last wednesday, anyone else? why me?

our website and hosting have been cancelled by bluehost because we are the supposedly the reason for a ddos attack. “someone is out to get us”

this doesn’t make any sense. we are a very small musical group. bluehost is saying we must have enemies, but isn’t it more likely that bluehost is the actual target. those annoying idiots who pull these type of attacks, i’m sure are very satisfied to see bluehost go down, not us.

was any one else out there cancelled last week? or affected by this attack?

i’ve also read that ddos attacks have been happening a lot more lately against “larger companies”

feedback would be great. i’m very frustrated. already moved my site, but what a pain in the ass!
