Bluehost : Host a new domain on bluehost?

I just bought www.lanslidegaming.com and i wanted to host it on bluehost.

I bought it from godaddy because it was a couple dollars cheaper.

The way I look at it I now need to transfer it to my bluehost account.

My first complaint was that I am now going to have to pay an additional $10 to extend my domain by a year, but that was not a major complaint so I clicked on it anyway.

Now I find that after I verify I want to pay the $10, it says I have to wait 60 days before I can transfer it…. I am doing something wrong? or do I have to wait 60 more days just so I can host my new domain….
