Hello – I am having troubles with my blog. I had not touched anything in a long time (probably a couple of months at least). Then a friend told me he was getting an error when trying to add a comment to my blog. I started looking at the problem and was not able to fix it, so I contacted bluehost to help look at the problem.

They tried to repair the database, but did not have any luck. on their advice I updated my wordpress to the latest version. I did that, but I still have the same error on the wp_comments table (incorrect file format ‘wp_comments’), but now under the Admin page I do not even see the comments that have been added in the past.

Can anyone give me some advice to get this working?
