This is a bluehost question posted by dat on 17 February 2006
I’m hosting a wiki that’s becoming relatively image heavy. While users can attach files to individual pages, the process in the wiki is sub-optimal (e.g., images have to be resized prior to uploading and can only be uploaded one at a time).
What I’d like to be able to do is have a photo gallery to which users can upload high-resolution copies of images and then link to automatically-generated low-resolution copies for web display. The ability to tag and organize images (ala Flickr) would also be very useful, as would the ability to restrict user uploads via .htaccess / .htpasswd files.
Anyone have suggestions for software I could use here on Bluehost to do this?
