Bluehost How-To : shell access… ummm… how do I get it?

OK, I uploaded my photo ID through CPanel almost 2 weeks ago and still no shell access.

I am getting caned by CPU Quota exceeded messages, and I have removed as many possible causes as I can to no avail – I really need to see what’s going on under the hood to delve deeper. Without shell access this is pretty much impossible.

Does the application section in CPanel no longer apply? Has anyone been granted shell access lately? Or am I wasting my time asking?
