This is a bluehost question posted by casperl on 20 February 2006

I added an email user on my domain this morning.
Within minutes all email clients connected to the domain came up with an error that (more or less) said that “The server at bluehost has blocked emails from MYDOMAIN_NAME since the allocated number of emails that can be sent per hour has been exceeded.”

I removed the email address for that ‘Idiot Windoze PC’ and within an hour emails could be sent again.

I searched the ‘Knowledgebase’ on bluehost.com as well as this forum and nowhere can I found the amount of acceptable emails per domain that can be sent in an hour.

Does anyone know that ‘figure’?
