This is a bluehost question posted by scanreg on 08 December 2007

1. I created an AddOn domain and put it in a subdir:

/home/username/public_html/mysubdir/

2. I manually installed Joomla in the above subdir

3. Got the following error:

Session save path: none

4. Put phpinfo.php into the above subdir:

5. phpinfo.php reported the following:

session.save_path no value no value

6. I checked php.ini and it does NOT have the session.save_path commented out.

7. I tried the following for the php.ini save paths:

session.save_path = /tmp ; argument passed to save_handler
sessions.save_path = /home/username/tmp

QUESTION: how can I get the session.save_path to be recognized and working for the AddOn subdir Joomla installation ?

Never ran into this issue with other hosts.

Any help most appreciated
