So recently my pc crashed and was given a mac, I have recently been working on a second website and because I have to work on it everyday I decided to try out the mac web server that came with mine.

It works just fine, but the only problem I’m facing is that the URL is my IP address and I don’t like that. I tried forwarding the domain name to that address but the IP address still shows. I read somewhere that I could use my domain host to point to the new server, but alas, I know nothing about this.

How would I go about doing this?
And would the IP address still show as the URL?
Or does anyone have a better suggestion to go about this?

My eyes are burning from reading so much stuff online but none them will work.
