Is there any way that I can setup an FTP user as an SFTP user? The main account has SSH access, and uses SFTP for the primary file transfers. However, I’d like to set up another FTP account for a subdomain (this person would only have access to that subdomain) and I’d prefer if they used SFTP. I tried to set this up, asked support about but I don’t think they knew what I was talking about because they told me send them my ID if I wanted SSH access, which I did long ago. Is it possible, or do I just resort to letting the secondary user go with plain old FTP?
I remember a couple years ago I worked for a guy, and all his files were on BH. He sent off his ID, and from then on had us all access using our FTP accounts using SFTP. Did things change? Am I crazy?
