Several times a day I receive 404 errors from URLs that are missing the sub-directory portion, i.e. http://www.shamar.org/artName.php, when it should be http://www.shamar.org/articles/artName.php. They come from different IPs and the number of hits generally range in number from 110-250. With each “attack”, the URLs are all different but are generally the same as targeted by each IP address. (Occasionally, the IP address is the same as mine but I have run all kinds of software and could detect nothing on my machines.)

Anyone have any idea of what is happening?
