Bluehost : Too late in getting refund?

I registered a site on bluehost and paid for a 1 year subscription. After 4 months of use, I decided to make the decision to cancel the account so I sent an email to support at bluehost and I was told that I could get some of the remain months refunded and so I proceeded in cancelling my account and the site is taken offline. This has been over several days now and I still haven’t received any of the money back. The email address that I sent the email from was part of the website so I can’t get any reply. Am I never going to see any of the money again? Thanks in advance.
