I understand I need to get a dedicated IP Address if I want to host Ventrilo, which is fine. My question is this:

The domain it will be used for is not moved over yet but I’d like to get it going before then. When I request a dedicated IP does it have to be linked to a specific domain? If so can I move it later when my new domain is moved?
