1. You should have a Zen Cart software installed on your server. Download it from http://www.zen-cart.com/modules/mydownloads/ if you don’t have one. Installation process is quite simple. To start off, you should have to extract the Zen Cart ZIP file. Once extracted, you will have a directory containing the Zen Cart scripts. The contents of this directory needs to be moved to your webserver, either by copying the directory or by using an FTP program. You will then need to run the install script. To do this you need to open a browser and type in the URL. If you are running on your own computer, this will be http://localhost/{zen-cart-directory}/zc_install or if on a live server: http://{www.mydomain.com}/zc_install. You then only need to follow the prompts to install Zen Cart. For more detailed installation instructions, please see the /docs/1.Readme-INSTALLATION.html document in the Zen Cart distribution.

2. When you have a Zen Cart software installed, unpack a template package you got from our website. There will be a folder named /ZEN_INSTALL/THEME/TM000. Place the files in their own directory (TM000) in the /includes/templates/ directory inside your Zen Cart installation. This will copy theme files of a zencart template to your installation.

Besides, copy the files from the folder /ZEN_INSTALL/PRODUCT_IMAGES to the /images directory inside your Zen Cart installation. This will copy product images that are used in a zencart template to your installation.

Finally update tables of your Zen Cart installation database using a mysql dump file located at /ZEN_INSTALL/SQL_DUMP/ZENCART.SQL. Contact your webhosting company for assistance.

3. Now go to your administration control panel. You will be asked for a username and password. Use ‘admin’ for username, and ‘1′ for password. We recommend you to change your password once you log in (you can reset your password under ‘Tools’ > ‘Admin Settings’ > ‘Reset PWD’).

4. Under “Tools”, click on the link “Template Selection”.

5. You will find a list of styles that are present in the /includes/templates/ directory. Click on “Edit” and change the template to “TM000″. Click on “Update” button to save your changes. This will change a theme of your Zen Cart.
