The cost of the company’s Starter Pro shared hosting package has been reduced to £1 ($2) a month “for the first six months of a 12 month package”. Terms and conditions that apply to the promotion are available at the company’s website.

The package offers up to 500MB web space, 5,000MB traffic bandwidth and 35 mailboxes with free webmail. In addition, those signing up receive £30 ($60) free Google AdWords pay per click advertising.

123-reg bills itself as “the UK´s number 1 registrar” and caters for over 1.9 million domain names. The company claims to lead the UK market in “both domain name registration and web hosting solutions”.
