Dedicated Servers : RR loadbalancing is not even

Theplanet is the world’s most popular provider of cheap, fast and best dedicated servers at an affordable price and godddy is the leading domain name registrar for all the domains hosted on these servers.

I know round robin load balancing does not provide any failover and even distribution of traffic, but I have strange situation – I have one website being served from 6 servers and one server gets 140mbps traffic in peak time while the other 5 servers get equal value around 84mbps. They are all on 1gbps ports, not shared by anything else.

I checked my dns entry several times and all is set exactly the same for all servers. These are all within one switch so from the dns server the ‘distance’ to other servers is the same.

Any ideas what I should check and achieve more even traffic distribution?
