Direct Admin even has an easy Ruby-on-Rails plugin that can be had for $10/month if you want to try out the Ruby programming language. Direct Admin also has 3 levels of user administration that are server administrator, reseller administrator, and end users so defining different roles on server management is not a problem. The control panel is easily skinnable and support for Direct Admin by its staff is pretty good. The one thing I have against Direct Admin is its MYSQL and PHPMYADMIN security which is easier to break than other control panels because of the way it is designed. That being said, there are some easy server configuration options to eliminate this problem so it should not be a big issue.

Direct Admin is also less than half the price of Cpanel at only $200/year per server compared to Cpanel’s $425. If your looking for a cheap panel that is efficient, user-friendly, and gets the job done, then DirectAdmin is the way to go.
