We have been having quite a few AOL spam attempts via the contact forms on many sites. The command files names used in these attempts are like
1. contact.php
2. contact_us.php
3. thanks.php
and others
We have temporarily disabled those on our servers using phpsecurex that we use. All those who see the 444 error might want to examine their code and make sure it does not allow bcc mails to be sent from it. It is highly recommended to use formmail from http://hostgator.com/formmail.shtml instead of badly coded php scripts which are leading this spam.Any questions can be directed to support@hostgator.com.
