As you all know, we’re changing the servers to PHP5 in a little under a month (Please see here for more details). Even if you manually specify PHP4 handlers during this transition period (using AddHandler for example), it’s important to realize that it’s only a way for you to buy more time if absolutely necessary in your case. PHP4 will be permanently removed in the near future, as it’s no longer being developed or maintained. I’ll get a firm removal date for the PHP4 binaries from DaveC and update this post at that time.
