This is the official hostgator announcement posted by GatorDaniel on 09 November 2006
Currently, solara, is blocking attachments that are in .zip format. This is a temporary measure.
The block should be removed within a couple of days. Someone’s clients are infected with a virus that is causing the server to continuously be blacklisted.
If you have clients on solara, please urge them to do virus scans, just as proactive assistance.
