my websites have been down intermittently with a “500 Internal Server Error”. When I check the error logs, I get the following:

Premature end of script headers: /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/index.php

I am running WordPress and have installed the WP-SuperCache (as advised by Hostgator support). I have also gotten the following reply:

This happens when you are bumping into the 25 process limit for your account. I suggest a couple of steps to improve this:

1) Switch from using IMAP to POP3 for your email downloading.
2) Make sure all cron jobs are finishing.
3) Disable persistant mysql connections.
4) Consider moving to a reseller account and moving each domain into its
own cpanel account (with its own 25 process limit) instead of as addon domains.

I am not sure if this problem is related to the Wordpress plugins I have installed, to the .htaccess file (which was recently modified by someone on the Hostgator team) or to something else.

I would appreciate any help with this!
