I’m getting pretty upset with all the problems at Hostgator the last few days with First my server being down, and the last couple of days with the MySQL databases being down OFTEN. Is it possible to move from a server with MySQL 5 to one with MySQL 4? I need something more stable.

Here are some of the times I’ve been down:

Following is a list of the times when my server (mainly MySQL) has been down. There are more reports, but these are a good sampling. The processes are checked by more than one company, from several different areas/locations. I have submitted a ticket for moving my site to a different server if this issue can’t be resolved today. The only issue I see in moving is moving from MySQL 5 to MySQL 4 databases.
