I have set up an addon domain, and put html pages in it’s subdomain folder with an index file called index.html.

When I put the domain (E.G www.myaddon.com) or subdomain (E.G www.addon.mainHGdomain.com) URL into the broswer I get -

”Forbidden You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. ” If i try say www.myaddon.com/index.html it will display the page fine. How do I get the site to run from index.html from just the domain? Do I need to do a redirect too? or put an .htaccess file in the folder? Please Help, Main domain working fine, and I’m loving HostGator!
