We are absed in the UK and are looking to rent a dedicated server from HostGator. Our problem is we are not sure whether to go for the Standard of Elite.
With the standard we would have to purchase some Back Up as well. Can someone tell me if the following is correct:
1. If on a standard server the drive goes down, then the server is offline until the drive is replaced and restored.
2. If on an Elite server with 2 x HDU’s, then these can be mirrored and if one goes down, then the second goes online, whilst the first is replaced?
