I just (unfortunately) signed up for a shared account at WHB. I setup all my addon domains and then went to install WordPress. That is when the real fun began - simply adding certain mainstream plugins would cause me to overshoot the 8mb RAM allowance and I would have to physically delete the plugin to get my WP to work again. I see that HG does not have the same restrictions on server resources.

Will I run into the same types of issues at HG just running standard WP plugins and Drupal? Some examples of plugins/themes that are killing my install on WHB are redoable, contactforms, obosocialbookmarker, polls, postratings, etc.

Another issue that really burns me is that addon domains (read: unlimited websites) are actually setup as subdomains of the primary domain. All the primary domain files go in the public_html root and the addon domains have to go inside that main folder. Basically it is some kind of .htaccess setup, not true DNS based A records. Does HG does this as well?
