I’m currently hosted on godaddy, while they give a lot of disk space and bandwidth for cheap, their shared hosting of the mysql db’s are horrible. My phpnuke page slows to a crawl whever it’s USA peak hours.

No point in lots of bandwidth and disk space if the page is so sluggish users can’t even access it right?

Can any current users here can comment on how well hostgators mysql DB’s are? I’m willing to pay the extra bucks for hostgator so the 100 users on my site (20-30 concurrent at most) can actually surf the darn webpage.

Is there any sample pages running phpnuke that I can test and see how fast it is during peak hours on hostgator?
