Hi there – i’ve installed the x-cart 30 day demo and it’s not working properly – when I go to the home page I just get a white background and whole lot of text dumped on the page.

I’m not certain but I think this might be because the x-cart demo requires ioncube loader, which needs safe mode turned off.

It looks like I need to create a php.ini file but I haven’t been able to find clear instructions on how this works.

Can somebody please confirm that I need to creat a php.ini in my home directory and tell me what I need to put in it to turn safe mode off ?
