Before I start I want to say Hello to everyone here.
Hello everyone at HostGator!
I have been a customer with GoDaddy.com using Joomla and SMF. It’s okay so far no problems running smf on GoDaddy Deluxe.

But now that I’m bored with my content I have new ideas for a new website which will contain:

* Contents about 5Gig in total
* A Forum (most likely a lot since all the content is going in there)

I was researching GoDaddy responses online and I’ve discovered GoDaddy has serious issues with PHP.
So my research led me here.

* What type of web hosting plan should I purchase here that will satisfy my needs?
* I’m also in a budget around 50-100 dollars. I don’t want to invest too much.
* And does HostGator support VB?(I know it doesn’t allow VB software due to license)
* I have also tried the demo and it looks like phpBB is availble.
* Will phpbb be enough for my needs?
