When I first signed up back in December of ‘05 I made my 1st review. This is now my 2nd review after about 5 months of service.

Firstly I would like to say a Special thanks to Lance, and Dmitry. Those 2 have gone way out of their way to get my site fully 100% functional and fixed when it was having issues. A little background on the issue was with the mySQL server. It would crash daily multiple times for no reason. It took a bit to pinpoint the problem but it was eventually fixed.

Secondly I would also like to thank Brent for recommending I switch to a Semi Dedicated account. I haven’t been disapointed by doing it. I was however at first a little iffy about doing it. It was a great leap in price from what I was paying.

The server I’m on is pretty good as well. All my visitors get good speeds and quick downloads. The pages load really fast. There hassn’t been much or any downtime that took any kind of impact on my site. The only downtime I seen was when I posted a patch and the site was hit with over 400 people all at once wanting the file. What do you expect though any server will bog with that kind of impact .

On a final recommendation of how impressed I am I have also referred a lot of friends to HostGator. I also host all of my 7 domains here as well.
