I am now into my second month of hosting with HostGator and I must say that I am extremly happy with the service.

So far I personally have not seen my websites offline at all, although siteuptime.com tells me there have been 1 outage (but to be honest it was probably siteuptimes server that was offline as they’re very slow at the minute) but 1 outage for a few minutes in the space of 1 and a half months is still extemly impressive.

I havn’t had to ask a lot of support questions, but there was a problem with someone spamming using my hosting account. I emailed the support staff who told me that it was a problem with one of my scripts. They told me the exact scripts that could effect it and offered some solutions to stop this happening. So any time I’ve had to work with support it has been very efficent

So overall I could not be happier that I choose HostGator as my webhost. So long as this keep this great service as great as it is, I will be on here for years.
