well you might want to delete this but I really dont care.
I just wanted to share my experiments with hostgator.

I ordered shared plan “baby” about two months ago.
My hits were growing very very fast each day, so I knew that I would need dedicated server very soon,
I was very scared if hostgator will suspend my service because of my hits so I went to chat support and ask them if hostgator will suspend my service without any notice, I just wanted to know if I will get notice so I can start getting ready for my dedicated server. And support told me yes I will get notice before hostgator will disable my service it was because I was having a lot of hits. It wasnt because I was abusing the service. I also told the guy on chat that I just wanted to get notice so I can get ready for dedicated server, so he said yes you will get notice.

Next day! My site has been suspended! The day my site has been suspended I had more hits than other day!

so I said OK, I knew that i will need dedicated server soon, so I told him please enable my site for couple of hours so I can backup my files and get ready for dedicated server I told him that I had more hits yesterday. I had no access to my site nor my files. And in couple of hours I already lose alot of my visitors my page views… plus I also lose a lot of my customer’s trust on my site. This was a nightmare!

Hostgator support told me that I need to order dedicated server so they will enable my site. Right after I ordered and paid for the dedicated server 219 dollars.

But still support didnt wanted to enable my site.. I was telling them that I already lose a lot of my hits so please enable my site so I can start setting up my server and have my backups. But nope they didnt enabled my site. Even thought I already paid my dedicated server they didnt enabled my site.

So i had nothing to do but watch my hits getting lower and lower every minute! and wait for my 219 dollars dedicated server. I also needed time to set my dedicated server and configurate my files. Where I had no access to my files. That was nightmare…

Its been already over 10 hours. After couple of calls I was able to find one guy to help me out! i was asking him that what am I spouse to do with dedicated server if I already lose a lot of my hits.. He was actually working for support but he actually tried to contact with admin to enable my site, thanks to him after 10 minutes my site has been enabled again.

Now i got my dedicated server from hostgator but since that day I already lose alot of my customers now I am not even getting same hits with weeks ago.

This is not about hits! even thought I been talking about my hits..
This is about my - yours reputation over somebody’s trust on your webpage.
I always want to give my users best service as possible and I always trying increase my service quality and thats what I really like to do! I want my users to be happy with my service I want them to come back again! but with that downtime had me lose a lot of them…
