I have many many websites on a dedicated server now at HostGator including my very important site, Prepress Forums. With HostGator at my side, this is becoming the most important prepress & graphic design site on the internet and is growing at a dramatic pace. I recently upgraded to a dedicated server from 5 different shared servers at hostgator. I know the service very well now. I started migrating to hostgator about 2 years ago, starting with my newest and least important sites. I have about 200 domains and have used several prominent web hosts over the years.

I started moving my corvette forums to host gator because I needed the bandwidth and was paying too much to host my corvette forum at another host. The used corvette for sale ads were hogging lots of bandwidth and the free corvette digital corvette picture galleries too. Finally I have now moved my prepress forum which has been online for about 6 years. PrepressForum(TM) has about 18,000 members, gets lots of traffic. This is an online graphic arts community for graphic design forums and computer to plate forums using php mySQL mainly. Anyway the graphic design forum and prepress forum that I run is really important to me and all the members. HostGator has been an excellent host for all my domains and I can easily say is the best host that I have used. It’s been a great service that I can recommend without hesitation.

Based upon the good experience and results working with HostGator, I have continued to escalate and expand my web presence. My experience with many other prominent hosts has been decent, but I have slowly moved every site to HostGator. I have no hesitation to recommend that HostGator is the best service to trust your web based business to. Good luck & HTH.
