We transfered to HostGator from Ipower after changes (I wasn’t notified before hand of) to my server that caused my shipping script not to function and errors to be generated. I was with them for about 3 years and had numerous problems with their support which included being on hold for hours on end with no one ever answering. Then I made a News Years resolution. NO MORE IPOWER!

I signed up for the “Baby” Plan for 3 years due to their “New Years” Discount. The main site “candlesbythecreek.com”, with the help from Jonsey in support (which was answered in 2 or 3 minutes from the time I placed the call), was up & running in a couple hours.

Transferring my other domain name websmoken.net away from Ipower/Tucows (which is not to be confused with the two happy “cheese” cows from California) was a nightmare. It was like they were playing “Keep Away” from Enom and I but after writing Tucow’s Compliance Officer, domain was transfered and in Enoms hands. I called HostGator support again this morning, kicking back ready to listen to a lot of classical “hold Music”. I’m proud to say the music was interrupted in less than 5 minutes with support answering. Now this site is up & running also.

I am looking forward to a Happier 3 years With HostGator.
