Joomla Hosting : swapping logo problem

Joomla is one of the most popular CMS today. You can host your joomla sites with one of the leading web hosting providers of reliable and affordable joomla web hosting.

My problem is related to several others that have been recently posted but I can’t quite find the answer there. My guess is it is a common problem for fledglings so please bear with me.

I have found a template I wish to use and it’s almost perfect except for the logo. I’ve successfully replaced the logo.png file in the images folder and my logo now loads with the template.

The problem is that it appears to be sitting inside a box somewhere which is presumably designated in the CSS to be a certain number of pixels high and wide. I could resize the logo to fit, but it would be too small to be effective. I’d therefore like to change the size of the parameters which are controlling what size will be displayed.

Can someone please direct me to where I might find that in the code?

Your help, as always, is much appreciated.
