unlimited web hosting

my forum (forumportables.fr) is hosted at bluehost and works fine. This domain’s DNS is hosted at a french registrar (GANDI) that does not allow DNS server transfer to USA, for legal and administrative reasons.
What I have done is modifiyng my DNS zone file at my french registrar/ DNS to point to my platinium pack at bluehost. And that works. I need this to be done because my forum needs to send emails to users for registrationpurposes, for example.
This works fine, after fiddling a little on the settings, but some email adresses still do cause problems. For example, email adresses XXX@chorten.fr (another domain I use) are never sent, by my Bluehost hosted forum (gives SMTP error code 500).
All adresses AT chorten.fr are never sent from forumportables.fr, but, furthermore, any email sending FROM chorten.fr never arrives TO forumportables.fr,
Please note that email sending from these two domains work as long as they do not point towards the other one, and I have correctly created the corresponding users.
