Oracle Hosting : Space in lvol on HP server for db

I freed 15GB from a logical volume on the HPUX server by removing a tablespace after moving the data in its datafiles to another lvol which was successful and rebuilt the indexes.

Can still access the data.

But cannot see a reduction in the ‘used space’ % in /OPTD. It is still 97%

15GB is about 9% so doing bdf or df -k should show the used space for /OPTD as 88%. Am I wrong?

Actually /OPTD is in lvol1.
