I received an email this morning about the Orbit 2 change – which I’m very excited about as I was one of the beta testers. This email says that ThePlanet wants to make this transition as painless as possible.

I have a login script that’s in my staff portal that allows one-click access to our Orbit account.
I notice that with Orbit 2 the login procedure has changed – and it now generates some random code in a hidden form tag that changes for every session. So I opened a ticket (5788147PLNT) asking for some kind of assistance with updating my script to meet the new guidelines.

I get a reply back from Laura (who other people have had issues with based on the postings in this forum) basically saying “Screw off we’re not going to help you with your script”.

I’m not asking for help recoding my script. I included the script so they could see what it does – but all I’m looking for is a little guidance on what has changed with the login procedure and what I might need to change to make my script work with the new Orbit.

All I get is another reply saying they’re not going to help me.

So much for making this procedure painless. My special thanks to Laura for not caring!
