The first sever I ever bought was from EV1….

They were utter trash and I actually left EV1 to go to TP.

I was literally saddened when I heard TP bought EV1… I was like, why would they want to incorporate that poo fest into their corporation?

Lo and behold, the H1 incident occours. How many other data centers in the world have had “High Voltage Electrical Equipment Short” and cause explosions?

None, because they aren’t a massive suck fest like EV1 was.

Now this is all fine and dandy… except for the part where I am an existing TP customer, from YEARS before they even thought about buying EV1…

So a few months ago I buy a new server, and where does TP decide to put it? In the crap fest EV1 data center…

Now I just finished reading a thread which outlined that the EV1 data center dose not support IPMI or other features that are standard in ALL OF THE OTHER TP DATA CENTERS…

So why when I ordered a new server, as a TP customer… was it put in the EV1 crap fest data center?

And now… there is NOTHING I can do about it without additional expense OUT OF MY POCKET.

I guess I will just have to make sure when I order servers in the future to tell my sales representative that I do not want my server or any part of its network connectivity to be associated with EV1’s crapfest infrastructure.

I am just VERY VERY VERY disappointed that I would even have to do such a thing.

If I order a server from The Planet, it should be delivered in an environment that as a long standing The Planet Customer is equivalent to what I have come to expect. There is no way anybody at TP could say that this can be accomplished by putting my hardware in an EV1 DATACENTER…..
