ThePlanet.com : Stupid DNS Question RE New Servers etc

We have 3 servers here, one is old ensim from 2002 (retiring), next is newer plesk from ev1 (started in Jan 2006), third is cpanel from orbit (March 2007).

Frankly, I can’t stand the fact that there is no real time dns control with orbit’s panel. Server Command system used with the ev1 stuff is awesome. Never had any problems with it.

I’d just as soon dump this $200 a month cpanel orbit thing and get another ev1 with server command for dns (But it doesn’t look like that’s possible)… and no, I have no desire to run my own dns. I prefer the likes of server command and/or dnsmadeeasy – system admin is enough work as it is trying to make a living – (No I don’t host for profit, these servers take care of my business only).

Am I missing something with orbit dns do I need to up my subscription on dnsme to include more than 25 domains. The only thing I regret about retiring the old ensim server is the full time online dns control… (and playing the godaddy dns support game isn’t an option once their systems flag a domain as not hosted ‘there’… ughh! Anyone got any ideas around this?).
