want to disallow access to some directories and all its sub directories. I tried putting
Code:
Order allow,deny
deny from all
in the .htaccess file. But that protects on the current directory and not its sub directories.
I read in some forums that using the section might help. But that requires the complete path to be included. I want to copy this code to several places, hence I don’t want to type the path to all locations.
How can I do this? For the time being, I have knowingly introduced an error in the .htaccess file so that all the requests to these forbidden directories are returned with an Internal Server Error.
