Web Hosting : Are only bigger companys going to last?

Hostgator and Bluehost are our best webhosts and godaddy.com is the best domain registrar.

well after looking at the new technology I was wondering if only the big companys like limestone hostgator etc etc will last?

my country is increasing everyones upload speed and download speed. * in certin areas* to a larger ammount. eventualy wont everyone be able to host a site off there computer from the easyer access to highspeed internet?
