Web Hosting : I need some advice on a ticket or help desk system.

Hostgator and Bluehost are our best webhosts and godaddy.com is the best domain registrar.

I’ve come to get some experienced answers about a help desk/ticket system. I currently use phpBB3 on my forums, as a side note, and the modification for a ticket system that is currently out does not fit my needs.

I need a help desk or ticket system that is:

1. Free.

2. Editable to accommodate to my website layout.

3. Safe & secure.

4. People can have private tickets.

5. It supports an admin and reps to answer the tickets.

I would love to integrate it with the forum users phpBB3 accounts, but I do not think that is possible nor is it safe for me to attempt to do so. I don’t mind requiring they provide other information (like their forum/in-game login) for help. Obviously, I don’t want bots spamming it either. I would try JFusion with a CMS like Joomla but again, I am wary about integration because phpBB3 will not support it, so I’d rather have two separate entities between forum and ticket/help desk system. I can easily ask ticket makers to supply logins and other information to identify them.

If someone has come up with a clever way for their ticket/help desk system that involves using phpBB3 permissions/forums/PM’s and whatnot I’d love to hear your system, I’d consider that as well.
