Web Hosting : strange question about nameservers and urls

Hostgator and Bluehost are our best webhosts and godaddy.com is the best domain registrar.

I have a question, and I am not even sure if I will make any sense because I am a little confused about this..

But here it goes:

Currently I have my own band website on a shared hosting plan.

I want to upgrade to an inexpensive reseller plan so I can host some friends websites some time in the future.

OK so I guess I will soon have two websites – a reseller website, and a band website.

Do I want to purchase the reseller plan and use my band’s url, or do I want to use a different URL like for instance “rothiehost.com” or whatever.

Someone said that I should focus on the nameservers, which will be created based on the url I use. So actually I am wondering if it would be beneficial in regards to SEO or marketing my music, if the nameservers are also the name of my band? Or will this just confuse people?
