Web Hosting : VPS or Reseller?

Hostgator and Bluehost are our best webhosts and godaddy.com is the best domain registrar.

Kinda stuck with which way to go…
I will be in basic, will be hosting like 10-20 websites (tops). (personal and my sisters)

Reseller, I would get more or same space and MORE bandwidth, and prob (so I am told)easier < if a site neededs more cpu, ect usage> to switch a site to a VPS/ semi-dedicated.. and costs less.

A VPS cost more for a lil less…. but cant I set up how much each site used in bandwidth just like a reseller account and still have the option of not to worry as much that if a site grows then it wont get suspended b4 I can take care of it?

and also I have noticed that w/ ssl 2 different ways it’s worded depending on who and all… if I got one for all the sites(ip) or one for each….? I’m only expecting to use it for my sisters few sites and my own use… do I really need more than one or is this a hosting company tactic?
