I want to set up a hosting account for a client and I want him to have a different IP and preferably be on a different box than mine (for SEO and other reasons), but I still want to be able to manage his account, as well as mine, from one cPanel login. Is this possible? Support says all domains under one BH account get the same IP.

I am using web easy and am having trouble connecting to the host. It starts uploading my files and gets to around 7 or 10% and gives me an error message saying cannot connect to host or server timed out. All my info is right and it let me upload the very first time and this started. Please Help!!!

Is it possible to get Simple Scripts or cPanel to email me when an upgrade is available? There is a pop-up notification when you log in to cPanel, but sometimes I’m late on upgrades for a month or two because I don’t log in that often.

After getting my blog installed and working just fine (well, mostly), I’m having a bit of an identity crisis when it comes to email and home directory paths.
I am sure the answers are a simple setting somewhere, but I’m not sure where, so a little help would be most welcome…
I installed Word Press, all installed as per the default install but into a sub directory of a sub domain.

We had a blog with over 2,000 spam comments, so I’ve installed WP-spamfree. But in the meantime, when I try to even preview a draft of the next post, I get this message:
The server www.frenchprairiegardens.com at Magic requires a username and password.” I don’t know what that “at Magic” is, but it shouldn’t be there. I’m afraid to post till I know what this is. It has never been there before.

im not happy about the new requirements. This makes it less safe than what I previously used before. I now have to have this new password written down because it is different than 99% of the other passwords I use. So I will never remember this password. And I’m sure I’ll need to use the “forgot password” feature.
My old password was secure enough, now it becomes less secure. Thanks BlueHost.
At least they arnt like the Unemployment site. Making you change your password every few weeks, and it cant be the same as the previous 5 passwords. That was the worst.

Please help, I post this new thread because this is my last resort to fix my websites.
I tried to log in to my account with reseted password and it require to change the password, but after I change the password, I can’t login to the control panel.
This is the error message :
Your username XXXXX is installed correctly, but your account cannot be repaired at this time. Try resetting your password later or contact support if this problem persists
Click here to try and login to cPanel again.
I tried to resetting the password again but it happened again. Then I tried to contact the email support and the live chat but there’s no respond. I think the problem is my account was suspended because I have a rapidleech in my account and bluehost demand me to remove them. How can I remove them without login to my cpanel?
Another thing that I think it’s unfair, that bluehost suspend my account without giving me any warning, because there’s nothing in the TOS that said rapidleech is forbidden. And I’m only using the rapidleech for my personal use, it’s not for public use.
I’m very dissapointed that after almost 2 years I’ve been using bluehost service, they suspend my account without any warning. It’s already 3 days that my websites are down. I’m considering to move all my website to another hosting.

In the current event of account suspensions due to a too high number of in file counts I had a look in my userquota file. What worried me here is that I see that everything is double here. As an example:
When I add up the numbers, I seem to get to the high file count as I see on my cPanel. But it somehow feels like it should be half?
Anyone care to enlighten me?
btw. another concern is file count and wordpress. In the newer versions of wordpress uploaded photos are automatically processed to scaled versions. This increases the file count times 4. I do post a lot of photos, it seems that bluehost’s file count policy is going to be problematic for media driven sites.
