When I sent newsletters to my subscribers with Microsoft Outlook they look like crap. The complete layout is differtent when sending to Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo, but this is a different challenge.
My problem is when looking at the header it show ‘my hosted server name on behalf of my email address’. I really have to get rid of this ‘sent on behalf’.
I have read that this can be fixed by editing the headers, but I can’t find the correct file or syntax.

I am new to the Magento Platform for ecommerce and I need some help from the community please.
I need to add xml web services functionality to the template and add delete and copy certain elements from the template and change colors if I need want to.
I believe everything is PHP coded?

I’m a newbie in need of help. I want to add some banners (i think they are referred to as callouts) to the left and right columns of my magneto home page but i dont want them appearing on any other page.
I have tried finding a tutorial or a screen cast on this but have had no luck. I know it can be done but dont know how. Please can someone put me out of my misery.

In my checkout process, when I select at Billing Information (the first step) ‘use this address for shipping’, the checkout works.
However, when I select ‘ship to other address’ and select an address at shipping information (second step) and click on continue, I can see ‘next step is loading’ but nothing happens.
Did someone already have such a problem? I made some minor changes to the checkout so I’m not sure if it’s my fault…
Could someone tell me what’s a good way to debug this? I’ve tried allready quite a long time but I didn’t find the problem.
I hope the names of the steps ecc. are correct because I translated it from german.

I have created an observer (a model) which changes the prices during checkout in some special cases. Therefore I also have to tell this the customer somehow.
I think a javascript alert should be the easiest solution for this. But I could not find out how to create a js alert out of a model.
Does someone know how that could work
